How do the magnets work?
Each branch of the menorah contains a hidden magnet, and each candle comes with a precision metal cup that clicks elegantly into place.
The result is a clean, firm connection: the candle clicks in, stays upright, and the candle cup lifts out easily after use.
Can I use regular Hanukkah candles?
No — and that’s the point.
Standard candles don’t fit or stay stable. Magnorah candles are designed specifically for the magnetic holders: secure, dripless, and sized perfectly. Once you’re tried them you’ll never want to go back.
How do I remove the metal cup after the candle burns down?
Each Magnorah includes a tool (it looks like an oversized pair of tweezers) to help remove the metal cup. Alternatively you can lift it out with your hand, or use your own tweezer or other household objects.

Can I attach my own candle to the used metal candle cup and re-use it?
We strongly advise against reusing candle cups. Our candles are custom-engineered, quality-controlled, and produced with the candle cup securely attached. “DIY” solutions are unsafe and increase the risk of fire.
Is the Magnorah kosher?
Yes. The Magnorah follows all halachic guidance for alignment and design.
The magnets don’t interfere with lighting or placement, so it’s fully kosher for Hanukkah.
How safe is it?
The Magnorah’s patent-pending attachment dramatically reduces the chance of a tipped candle and related fire.
That said, candles are still open flames, so please always use common sense.
Place the Magnorah on a sturdy, non-flammable surface and never leave it unattended. Never lift or move a lit Magnorah.
What comes with the Magnorah?
Each Magnorah includes one menorah and a complete set of 48 precision-engineered dripless candles. Enough for all eight nights plus extras.
How do I get candles for next year?
We make that easy with our candle delivery service. When you subscribe, we’ll automatically ship a new set of Magnorah candles to you each year before Hanukkah.
